Busy -ness

It has been some time since I have posted on my Blog. I plead busy-ness. I have been giving book signings and poetry readings. Watermark Books in Wichita was kind enough to schedule a make up signing because of the "signing in the snow storm" in February. About 30 people attended this event. Another favorite event was the Tallgrass Spiritual Retreat Center Gather the Women day where I facilitated a workshop on Sacred Poetry. I will be attending the ISSSEEM (International Society for Study of Subtle Energy and Energy Medicine) in June. DREAM POWER will be on sale there and I look forward to meeting with my dissertation committee including Norm Shealy, Berney Williams and Bob Nunley while I am there. Other activities include Reiki training and retreats for women who have a history of childhood abuse. At the last retreat, a prayer shawl was given to every woman. Prayers were woven into these shawls and they have become a great source of comfort and peace to the survivors. Namaste until next time.
